Mr. Panrapee added that on February 8th, 2003, he has invited Dr.Nipon Tuwanond, the rector of Chiang Mai University with his colleague to Huay Hongkrai agriculture experimental station at Doi Saked, Chiang Mai. Mr. Chaiwat Sindhuwongse, former misnister of the ministry of industry had inaugurated and watched the experiment. Prof. Dr. Prathuangsi Sinchaisee, and officer from Fragrant Plant Department, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperation, tested the experiment. He crushed and fermented the old Aquilaria and then refined it. The refined fragrant oil can be used for industry goods and the remains can be used in some kind of medicine and some other goods.

Essential Oil

On February 9th, 2003, 120 foreign researchers visited the fragrant garden, watched the experiment. Some had never seen the fragrant plant which is valuable for the people of the Middle East. The attendees were very much interested; Some came from Japan-India-Sri Lanka-France-England and the United States and wanted to buy the registration or to share the capital. But Mr. Panrapee wanted to develop the experiment. He had tried hard for over 20 years for Thai people and Thailand to develop this product. Mr. Panrapee started the experiment in a factory in Cambodia in 1983 until 1986. He traveled in and out of Cambodia from 1987 to 1990. He experimented with 4 - 5 breeds of fragrant trees from wild forests. He found that the Middle Eastern people consume most of the fragrant oil. He sent samples to Dubai, Oman, Iran, Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt, Japan, England, Germany, France and let them try goods. He produced the fragrant oil from 1991-1995. He planted 3 breeds of Aquilaria in Trad, Chantaburi, Rayong from 1987-1995. Then, he planted each breed all over in the following places:
